The legendary Paula Scher has designed the new identity and promotional campaign for the New York City Ballet. “The identity is designed to be powerful and graceful at the same time, like the company,” says Scher. I think that the simplicity of the overlay and the gray tones are inspirational.

It´s 46 days and counting till Kristjan and I head to Honduras. We are planning on spending 3/4 by the coast and the Bay Islands. Think these Missoni towels would fit perfectly with the sand and turquoise water.

That´s hot!

Have enjoyed the danish Wendy Plovmands illustrations on the cover of Eurowoman all month. Spring has diffidently arrived, which unfortunately means to me pollen allergy. I bought the blue and yellow container at Dansk Design Center, figured might as well make my allergy fashionable.

Unforeseen Faces

Unforeseen Faces represents 54 people that responded to an open casting in Tórshavn 23rd June 2007. The intention was to explore the perception of portrait photography, by making the portraits without the presence of the artists – an experimental approach that resulted in the image unexpected. The picture above just so happens to be the back of my sister, Tóra.

NEW Danish Interior Magazine

There is a new Danish interior magazine out called RUM Interiør Design and is published by Egmont. I enjoyed the first issue, that to me is sort of a combination between Bobedre and BoligLiv, but with a more international feel. The RUM site is new, but it´ll surely be frequently visited by me.
