Birthday Bake
The table before the gest arrive (click on picture to enlarge)For my birthday I invited people for afternoon tea with champagne. I made a bunch of sarah bernhardt confectionary cakes that consist of chocolate truffle on macaroon covered with chocolate, they are by fare my favorite petit four. I made another bunch of napoleons hats with an outer cookie crust and inside almond paste (marzipan) with the bottom dipped for extra indulgence. Then I made piecrust fudge squares decorated with nuts and some more chocolate. Whipped up some lemon curd with toast and Lív my "party arrangement gradian angle" made the finest finger sandwiches ever!
