Well Kristjan and I are off to Honduras now. I can´t wait to show Kristjan the country that I lived in as an exchange-student for a year. My host family (whom I haven´t seen for 10 years) will be picking us up form the airport.
We´ll be gone for 3 1/2 weeks so no posts from me until 11 July. Until then you can always check out my blog-roll.

Think that Alexander Girard’s hand-painted wooden dolls have such a original look. I have never seen dolls looking like this. They were originally made in 1963 for his own home in Santa Fe and are now produced in Poland by Vitra. Expensive though for a wooden doll ($145.00 each)

The power of flower
Earlyer on I postet about "what´s better than fresh and clean linen" and came to think about something that definetly comes close if not better.....flowers! Almost every weekend I buy fresh flowers. Some of my favorite flowers are white Orcqides and pale pink wild Roses.

We had a brainstorm at work some time ago now. People were sketching all kind of stuff and Joanne made this black landscape with the letter A. I loved the look (but we did not use it for the ad) I took one of the copies home and framed it. Love it Joanne;o)

I took these photos that show some of my vintage linen collection yesterday. What´s better than taking a bath and than go to bed with clean linen that smell of fresh air?

Tomorrow the danes will celebrate the Danish constitution and I´ll celebrate not working for a whole day. Just wish I could take a mini break from today untill forever and stay at Hotel Helka in Helsinki......ups there I go daydreaming again.

Graham Oakleys "Magical Changes" was definitely the most popular book at Sankta Frans Elementary Schools library in the 80s´. I bought it before moving to Denmark to entertain my two godchildren in Copenhagen and so fare the 512 Magical Changes has been a good buy.

I have a weakness for interior books especially from the 50´s and 60´s. However some books that I´ve had for a long while I haven´t even looked through so I gave Salvation Army a stack of books this weekend. Before doing so I took some pictures of things that interested and somewhat inspired me. More pictures later.
