Vincent Van Duysen

These ceramic containers by dutch Vincent Van Duysen are to me simplicity and esthetic at it´s best

Simlpy Irresistible

I saw the picture with the yellow lamp at Remodelista and I had to share it. Yellow is such an uplifting color, an when the beautiful french lamp Jielde is covered in that exact color well than it´s simply irresistible.

Giant Anglepoise

To Tolomeo, Luxo, Boconcept or Anglepoise that´s the question!

Life is like a box...

DAISY aka Andrea Larsson and sister Rebecca Elbek make these charming boxes in vintage wallpaper. Great for hiding ugly clutter away!

Lemon Meringue Tartelettes

Is it just me or are Lemon Meringue Tartelettes all over the blogosphere?

Appetizing Serveware from Habitat

What a difference a color makes

Emma showed some great pictures taken by Lars Ranek.I took a look at his site and these pictures of some Eilersen sofas made me realize just how much a splash of color can do!

1001 glass ornaments

This is how many glass ornaments I apparently have collected in the past 4 years, oops!

LEGO 50 years

Big congratz to the danish colorful interlocking plastic brick

Tres Chic

Allot has happened to Marimekko since Kirsti Paakkanen acquired Marimekko in September 1991. I think Marimekko women´s collection Spring/Summer 2008 by Samu-Jussi Koski and Mika Piirainen is the most fashionable collection I´ve ever seen. All I can remember from the 80´s and 90´s regarding Marimekko clothes is the classic Tasaraita T-shirts and The Jokapoika, but never anything close to this kind of hipness;o)s600

verry Marimekko remanicane

Ikea textiles

Marimekko textiles

My first thought when I saw these textiles at IKEA were :"haven´t I seen those before?" But that was only because the textiles look so much like these Marimekko textiles from the 60´s. Wich is your favorite?

VIVE WIINBLAD

The way Bjørn Wiinblad draws and paints round faces with big eyes, long noses, small lips, no chin, and no shoulders what so ever is farfetch from todays beauty standard but nevertheless beautiful!
