A busy wedding bee

I´m so sorry for my lack og posts these past daye. I assure you that I´ve been BUSY! Here are some pictures of the dessert and bar napkins and the early stage of Kristjan painting our wedding stand. Tomorrow we´ll get the keys to our party location and we will need to make some magic happen. I´m so looking forward to getting married :o)

Dutch cake topper

I had an epiphany monday as I was bicycling my way home after work. I saw four dutch porcelain figures standing in a window and I thought...why not have such a figure as our cake topper?My cousin Katrin and I attended the Scout Jamboree in Holland in 1995 and we bought a typical tourist figure for our grandmother, so I dount even have to buy one. Happy days

Nicolina styling her terrace on Stoffalág street


My mother did some styling last week during the great summer weather on the Faroes Islands. This is maybe her fourth time ever using a digital camera. I think her pictures capture the atmosphere on my parents delightful terrace. Must say, my mother is quit the styling genius.

Project napkin no 2


Over the weekend I got around sewing 173 napkins. I opted for overlocking the napkins with yellow tried. Hope they will look good with white tablecloths and silver serving plates.

Project napkin


The day after Kristjan popped the question I bicycled my way up to Royal Copenhagen and bought 20 meters of fabric. I knew I wanted fabric napkins and the colors and pattern of the fabric became the color/theme for our wedding. It was a hectic and fun evening when my GREAT friends came over to help cutting 170 napkins. I´m such a luckey girl in having highly effective friends, thanks guys♥
