The Dita look
Made my way to Mac for a wedding makeup rehearsal the other day and brought a picture of miss always fabulous Dita von Teese as inspiration. To me less is NOT more when talking weddings and I´m not aiming for a virginal makeup look...having said that I will be toning it down a bit for the big day. Read more...

I never got around posting these pictures...better late right?! The Eurovision Song Contest 2009 was held in Moscow this year and it surpassed all previous Song Contest! I LOVED the graphic design this year, more so than the Finland 2007. The look is a fresh take on Russian folklore with the "fantasy bird" in russian colors. Unfortunately I haven´t found the Bureau behind the magic. Read more...

Say yes to the dress...
is my favorite program now a days. Say Yes to the Dress is a TLC reality series which follows events at Kleinfeld Bridal. The series shows the progress of individual sales associates, managers, and fitters at the store, along with profiling brides as they search for the perfect wedding dress. Jónleif, my father stayed for one night at our place, on his way home back from Norway - where he works as a machine engineer on large fishing boats.
I´we always been a fathers girl and until this day I still take his side when my parents disagree.
He has high work ethics and always puts family first. He´s generous, funny, clever, strange, stricked, wise and a great homemaker. When he comes home from work the house immediately undergoes a facelift plus
he´ll find the time to mown the lawn, wash the car, make a quick trip down to the city library and make dinner all in his first day back from work…well almost.
Poor Kristjan - he´s got humongous shoes to fill!
Marine Blue IKEA
Went to IKEA with two of my cousins and two of their children plus my uncle and his wife. I could not remember the last time I payed a visit to the Swedish Giant...having said that, I ended up only buying tree items: A pretty plastic plate, for my addiction - dark blue napkins and two meters of japanese inspired fabric. Bachelorette party
Two weeks ago I hosted my cousin Katrins bachelorette party. Katrin, I and two other great girls spent the day eating sushi at Kgs Have, she got a pedicure and got here makeup done by an Estée Lauder makeup artist and then we took a canal trip around Copenhagen. Then we went home to my place and there some of her close friends had set the table and decorated my flat with balloons and stuff. It was such a fun day. Read more...
